This picture was taken on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day 2011. It's a 5+ hour exposure started at around 11:30pm and stopped at about 5am. When I woke up and ran down outside to trip the shutter, the deck, tripod, camera and lens were all frozen over and covered with frost. You can actually see when it happened by the star trails growing fainter as they trekked across the sky. Because of this, I was deprived of seeing the fat man flying down to deliver the presents. You win this round, Santa. This round.
