I took this picture of Patrick Dougherty's "Diamonds in the Rough" in the Summer of 2011. The sculpture is located in Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond, VA. I was told the sculpture will remain there until the elements slowly dismantle it. It's an amazing work and I'd encourage anyone who hasn't seen it yet to venture out there before it vanishes away.
